Making Clash is Rude

Clashmaking  It’s amazing, literally to this present day I’ve had only a vague knowledge of these guys, the rock band from Britain’ . While making my own ‘clashmaking’ for a long enough. “C’mon, what a ‘clashmaking’ you’re talking about here?”, you’d ask me. And you don’t even try to hide your derisive smile :)

That’s true, there hasn’t been nothing so far on this site that would even remotely insinuate a ‘clash’ - of something, over anything.

Huh, and probably because of that I’m not coming off as a ‘feisty persona’ at all. Or, there hasn’t been any reason to start a good fight ‘for nothing’..

Or, - and it’s seems to me to be true - I’m just a ‘consciously polite person’. Working also hard to be ‘polit-correct‘ at all times.

“Be nice! Be polite! Be diplomatic!”, these are utmost ‘Canadian’ preachings. To date, as we have just passed a seven-year mark of being here, I feel like I’ve picked up a lot of ‘Canadian indoctrination’. I’d say, I’ve allowed my ‘Born-In-The-USSR’ psyche to stay almost ‘fully immersed into ‘Canadian Culture’ (oh, I instantly see a someone’s ‘mocking smile’ :) ) - and quite a bit of ’substance was retained indeed’, - in those invisible compartments that make up a ‘filing system’ of our beliefs. Oh, how clumsy it’s been said..

But recently it occurred to me, that ‘to be nice and polite’ is not quite ‘beneficial’ at all times. It’s like to sign up under an agreement obliging you to be ‘gullible’ at certain occasions. And there’s also a simple reason that ‘clashmaking’ isn’t something that would lead you avoid a possibility to be rude at all cost, on hundred per cent occasions.

Again, a ‘nice citation’ from Stephen King’s ‘On Writing’:

”Reading at meals is considered rude in polite society, but if you expect to succeed as a writer, rudeness should be the second-to-least of your concerns.  The least of all should be polite society and what it expects. If you intend to write as truthfully as you can, your days as a member of polite society are numbered, anyway.”

I’m not a writer, but as ‘clashmaking’ is tending to be ‘more in writing’, I’m not going to be polite at hundred per cent of times..
