The Caribbean. Enthralling beauty of turquoise waters. Divine islands contoured with miles of sandy beaches exposed to effects of elements, - such as balmy breezes - that gently caress pale-skinned bodies of temporary visitors fetched over here, across the spaces from their habitats normally found in much higher latitudes.. An enticing concept of living ‘with no time’. An ultimate getaway, a magnet paradise for escapist-type characters populating some of John Grisham’s books. Warning: “Do not get overly enchanted!”
It shall be a matter of personal preferences to tell exactly if one would be able to spend a whole life time idling in one of those enchanted islands.
But it certainly worth to visit, and ‘once-in-your-life-time’ deal would not probably work in case of Caribbeans. Make it a ‘good habit’ to get away down here once in a while
Many people do that - just break down a long winter in two halves. Well, some do it more than once, and there’s others who simply retreat to the Caribbean for the entire winter.
Poor people, constantly living under tremendous pressure of necessity to make a choice: either stay home (somewhere, for example, in Ontario, or Nova Scotia), and endure endless waves of blizzard, and spells of cold, or leave it altogether, and tough through the loneliness and boredom of life on the beach, where incessant throb of tidal waves can easily numb you to a state of coma in mere minutes
Caribbeans are great. Notwithstanding the fact the notorious ‘Bermuda Triangle’ permanently and ominously stuck next to paradise as a conspicuous feature of local geography
Do not you worry: routinely, and - uneventfully - we fly across it like a hundred of times a month
Love Caribbeans. Began to develop a special, ‘personalized’ sort of bond with this land, and sea..
.. and whatever may happen to be anywhere around, - especially, if it is related to the world of aviation
Love the nights, a relaxed stroll with a ‘night cap’ along the beach. Calmed waves are washing the sand, exuding the lull, bringing over a peace of mind..
And at some point, in the middle of aimless wandering in the dark, it suddenly comes to your mind: ‘Tomorrow never dies’..
