Mahogany An-2.

An-2 put in the showcase Holly! Antonov-2 in Vancouver! Made of mahogany wood, though. And not quite as big as the real one. But as a matter of fact, this model can be found in Vancouver, at the ‘Aviation World‘ pilot supply shop that is situated near the YVR’s South Terminal, in the corner of Nr.2 and Gilbert roads.

As the An-2 is a subject of some special interest in this blog, I asked guys at the shop to pull it out of the showcase ‘for a better look’, they cordially did it, and here’s a result of my quick photo-session.

No, I didn’t buy the model. But I guess, I helped them in some way, and made up for ‘that inconvenience’ by bringing in a good client instead :) Alexey did some shopping for himself. Among the toys he bought this time there was a model too.

Incredible, but later on, when we were in Victoria, I stumbled across another An-2 model, and I bought it! Should write a dedicated post, though :)
