What is special about this nicely looking Twin Otter - it has been rolled out from a ‘manufacture’ just a short while ago. It shouldn’t be too difficult to find out when it happened exactly. So, this plane could qualify for a ‘New Generation’ Twin Otter.
Spotted at Victoria, on October, 14th. I was interested in seeing the plane since my friend Tristan has posted a picture of it taken on the day of its maiden flight. And, - with a bit of luck, - it popped up upon us day before yesterday, when we came to Victoria from Toronto.
And Tristan happened to be at the airport, ’spotted me’, talking on the radio when we were preparing for departure. Moreover, he spotted us flying when he himself was in the air! Fabulous case of aerial spotting
We’ll talk about Twin Otter, and a ’subject of spotting’.

I understand Fleet Aircraft in Fort Erie ontario is making the fuselage sections for Viking just like the did for DH Haviland.
Same proccess etc.

Hi,
maybe. Can you get pictures?
I’ve just bought a copy of ‘Canadian Aviator’ magazine, there’s a large article on this project. I’ll post some more stuff on it.
Thank you for stopping by, keep in touch,
