I’m flying to Mexico today. It is a four and a half-hour flight from Calgary to PVR, Puerto Vallarta, and back. If the weather is fine, I’ll try to make a few pictures. Last time (about a week ago) I flew to Mexico, it looked they were at the end of rainy season. All rivers looked swollen, and on the mountains’ hills, which are normally dressed into their tipicaly desert livery, everything was unusually green..
Then I’ve got a few days off. Next posts will touch again a topic of aviation in Russia, I’ll try to extract an ‘essence’ from their Internet disputes over the Perm accident.
Oh, I bumped into some interesting stuff related to the topic of bush flying on An-2 in Siberia in the Soviet Union time, when they used this versatile plane on floats. Probably, we’ll find out WHY the Soviet aviation authorities put an abrupt end to this type of operation at all..
See you soon,
Yours,
