It will be a pleasure to resume posting “Tupolev Files”, which were gathered into the ‘RA-85123 Fan Club’ category. As long as my recently done search goes, it is known that the Tu-154M registered as ‘RA-85123′ is now working for a third operator in Russia since the time it was rolled out from the ‘Samara Aircraft Manufacturing Plant’ as a ‘brand new old Tupolev’. As for this picture, I found it in my archive, on the standard ‘6×4′ print. See, all instruments are alive, reading some flight’s essentials: IAS of ‘530 km per hour’, Mach number of .8, true airspeed of 880 km/h.
The plane is cruising from Krasnodar to some place in the Middle East, or Mediterranean.. Or, may be, we were on our way back to Krasnodar.
