Dear Club Members,

There’s an idea that’s been haunting me for while, and I’d like to share it with you.. maybe, in doing so I’ll finally get some weight off my shoulders

So, how about a trip to Russia?

I haven’t been back to the country since we moved to Canada in 2004. It is not so that I got really ‘homesick’ , - see, what am I saying, - but it is a sort of ‘right time’ to do this at some point in the near future, like, I’m thinking about September, 2008, - almost a year since now.

And I’m inclined to think about going to visit the Krasnodar city,

and the area around, to plan the visit so that we would be able to enjoy watching what they would offer at the next Gelendjick Hydro Aviation Salon slated for 4-7 September, 2008.

I haven’t decided if we should go, and, of course, nor planned anything yet. But I was feeling a sort of ‘duty’ to make such a trip proposal available for consideration by my fellow Club members

If this thing is ever to happen, it is going to be a totally ‘exclusive tour’, - to the ‘good’, and to the ‘bad’ that may be associated with it. However, don’t regard that ‘bad’ part of it to be ‘too bad’. I mean, planning such a ‘non-standard trip’ you have to deal with quite a few uncertainties. I won’t tell you anything on the ‘price’ and the ‘package’ until I have some research done to some extension. Everything is possible, though. If we’re lucky enough, ultimately - we might even get a ride on this thing
