DHC-7, yet you can see them around at some places. There is always a chance to see something interesting at the Calgary International Airport. Less than two weeks ago I ’spotted’ English Vickers VC-10..

VC-10’s initial flight path was not too ’steep’

..and yesterday it appeared again

In a position on RW 10. VC-10’s taxiing in on ‘C’ after landing on 16. And we are waiting for it, and for another crossing traffic approaching cleared to land on 16

Well, it may be said with regard to any airport though. But as long as I start my pairings from Calgary, I respectively collected more information on what’s going on around our airport.

DHC-7, I noticed it as I drowe on McKnight Boulevard where it criss-crosses with a final approach course for RW 34. ‘OK, let’s check it it out’. I gained a few extra minutes as I drove to work last Sunday in not a bad traffic, so I decided to spend them on an ‘elementary spotting’..

(to be continued..)
