Oshkosh in one glance-II (Seaplanes-I)

So, the seaplanes were in another area of particular interest to explore, moreover, - all of a sudden, one specific reason for this popped up at some moment.
We had just shuttled over from a camp to the AirVenture grounds on the morning of July 24th, and almost immediately experienced a ’significant episode’ of our travel to Oshkosh - how it later was realized. At least, by myself.
We just made a few first steps on the ‘holy land’ and happened to be nearby the Seawind, a Canadian company working at the moment on certification of its ‘baby’ - the amphibian Seawind 300C.
And the next thing I know - my wife fell in love with this plane ‘at first glance’! She insisted on stopping by, and looking into it. Which we of course did.
I even tried and got into a mock cockpit the company had handy by their chateau for visitors like ourselves.
It left nice and roomy, but an opinion of such a ‘dummy seaplane flyer’ who got up in the air on this kind of aircraft first time in his life just a few days ago (when we had a Norseman ride in the Red Lake) may mean nothing. And notwithstanding the fact that I want to get a seaplane endorsement one day!
Now I have to, because it seemed Victoria was near the edge of what we all know as the ‘impulsive shopping’, and started intensely bugging Seawind guys with serious questions regarding ‘product prices’, ‘deals’, ‘incentives for first buyers’, ‘financing options’, etc. Holly cow! :))
So, she got me totally trapped! What a surprise!
Of course, we didn’t buy the 300C ‘on the spot’. Yet.
Finally, I walked around the plane possessed by a ‘mixture of feelings’
And the dominant one was a ‘triumph of revelation’: ‘What a surprise! My wife wanna possess a seaplane, and fly on it!’
And a few images more
Hey, honey, I thought I knew your ‘consumer habits and preferences’ fairly well before that day. But you caught me totally unprepared! Regardless the fact I totally respect your choice there’s however a lingering question: what made you wish to buy a seaplane on that morning?
Was that a sailor-style blouse you wore then?
Looks like it is not ‘the end of the story’,
To be continued..
