Eric’s introduction to the ‘RA-85123 Fan Club’
Editorial, De-mythology, Clash, RA-85123 Fan Club Add commentsIn fact I didn’t even push too hard to persuade Eric to join our club. He welcomed the idea at once.
So, we’ve got a Club Member #4.
As the evening went by, I was filling Eric with details of our Club’s history. We also looked into pages of the RA-85123 ‘birth certificate’, and I tried to highlight the fact that we are dealing with a hero which is really ‘one of her kind’, - a ‘Dream Catcher’
Eric,
welcome to the Club, no doubt, you are going to be one of the most active members. Once you go to Russia visit your ‘bro’, look up into the sky once in a while (although, I realize how difficult it may be - too many ‘attractive things around on the streets
- especially if you happen to be in the vicinity of the Domodedovo’ airport, - there might be a chance to see your baby.
However, I should give you heads-up: here is a ‘recognition guide’ for you:
Yes - that’s how the RA-85123 looks now - another twist in the plane’s career. This picture is a courtesy of Andrei Pechenkin from the Planepictures.net.
Kuban Airlines has leased her out recently, and at the moment RA-85123 is flying under the ‘AviaPRAD’ colors. Here I also put a link to the airlines.net page with images of RA-85123 bearing the AviaPRAD livery.
Interestingly enough, some of my friends from Kuban Airlines just followed the plane, and now they commute from Krasnodar to Yekaterinburg to do flying out of this city, a major industrial center in Ural mountains region. Just like many guys in Canada do! ‘Commute to and fro’ the distant places is a relatively new feature the work force in the airline industry is becoming more and more introduced to. Sure, it is not really welcome feature, but what can they do..
Expect further report,
Everybody welcome to the Club,
Cheers,
Clash

LOl!
And through your membership you are going to be introduced to another array of Club’s benefits and perks!
A friend of mine in Krasnodar I was talking about will eventually be able to offer an interesting program for visitors, including aerial tours over the future sites of the 2014′ Winter Olympics in Sochi - and the Club Members supposed to get an ‘exclusive treatment’.
Plans, plans… just dare to dream
but we are working on them.
It’s been pleasure to have you at our place,
Talk to you,
S.
