They say that it is very difficult to land a sea plane on the ‘glossy water’. Wonder then how it works if you’ve got an amphibian aircraft with ‘glass cockpit‘? :)

Beriev-200 is an amphibian with the glass cockpit

So, this brief post is an announcement for a chat on the topic of amphibian aircraft from Beriev Design Bureau.

Beriev-200 jet amphibian is always a prime feature of the Gelendjik ‘Hydro Aviation Salon’ Hopefully, we’ll have an audience interested in this kind of exchange. I don’t guarantee it for sure, but we might expect something ‘unexpected’ :_)

You folks are strongly encouraged to join this talk,

Cheers,

Clash

This is the coolist Russian plane. They are WAY ahead of the West where we operate ex-WWII Invaders & Cansos and mod airliners. All we have new is the 215.

    Eric,

    to heck with polit-correctness :) - a square question:

what do you think, would it be worthwhile to test one of the Be-200 on the firefighting missions in BC, or Alberta?
