It’s not going to be mundane, or harsh, or tedious and boring, it is rather a very quick review of what we have seen during this pairing.
So, Icebergs and Newfoundland weather were on the topic when we stayed overnight in St. John’s. And as one of visitors to this blog noticed, you won’t wait for too long before the weather in Newfoundland changes. That’s exactly was our case.
When we came to St. John’s, it was foggy. ‘Quest for icebergs’ was out of the question. Well, nobody seemed to show much eagerness to go ahead with getting on such an adventure. I tell you, the other day I saw on the top of the Signal Hill a pole with arrows nailed to it, pointing to various ‘interesting landmarks and spots on the globe’, - such as Paris, for example. But the nearest spot indicated in such a way was, guess, what? - you bet, the site where Titanic sunk!
And we settled down with icebergs, enjoying a large painting with one of them on the wall at the Delta hotel front desk.
On the morning of the next day weather was gorgeous - a real ‘teaser’!
