We are flying cross-country. Certainly, this time would specifically do for the ‘cross-country’ - I mean, the flight time pilots normally put into the appropriate entries in their logbooks. That’s OK, and the only thing I would like to add is that we are flying across the ‘big country by the name of Canada’.
Early on the morning of 25th we started from Calgary,
and flew the first leg to Toronto. There we turned around, and flew back to the West, - to Vancouver, where we stayed overnight.
Three of us from our crew took a walk after we got to the hotel. We were lucky to see this Blue Heron on the Frazer River bank, - it seemed to have just had its dinner and was busy cleaning feathers. I remember we recently saw a bird of the same kind, but on the East Coast.
A new life is trying to assert itself on the old stump.
(To be continued..)
P.S.
This is for Rob, a Westjetter who flew with us on the jump seat from Vancouver to Toronto. Sorry guys, I just don’t know why the pictures taken by the Mac’s Photo Booth show everything as if in the mirror. So, the feature instantly ‘upgraded me’ to the left seat:))
