Well, we’ve just driven them back to where each of them has his or her ‘current ‘dwelling’ now, and here we are again, the two ‘empty-nesters’, and I’m going to explain what did the two previous posts mean.
So, today’s the Mother’s Day, and it looked as a pretty good reason for them to come and visit us, - ‘their folks’. So, they did.
They were hungry, and they didn’t even try to conceal it.
Meanwhile, Shurik, another member of our family (he lives with us, and it seems, he doesn’t want to move out any time soon; - HERE is a little bit about him) was clandestinely guarding the table.
I think, he was doing it just out of habit. He’s being fed alright.
Despite all Victoria’s protests I made children go outside with me for a quick photo-session, where we played out a ‘remake’ of an old shot from the late 80s, - the time when we still lived in Kazan, a big city in the Volga river region of Russia.
Victoria watched us through the kitchen window while we were fooling around.
Sometimes she loves to refer herself to ‘this home’s Stalin’. Well, it might be a little bit of stretch. (But just ‘a little bit’:) Yet that’s true, she’s got a very firm, - genuinely ‘royal’ spirituality and quite a character,
and apparently, she likes it that here in Canada you can often see lots of reference to her name-sake, Her Majesty Queen Victoria.
I recently made this shot in Hamilton. I remember myself gleefully thinking, ‘Gee, what a nice capture to tease my wife some day!’ And today such a day has come.
And of course, THIS is Her Majesty.
We had a bottle of Georgian wine. Now it is available in some liquor stores in Calgary. I just can’t remember for sure, but it might be that this particular brand of wine was the Stalin’s favorite. And of course, it was the Victoria’s choice:)
Tad-ah! We are all together again! All five of us, of course, Shurik included. He just got this seat and stayed with us all the time.
All the best to all Mothers of the world,
Take care,
Clashmaker

But he have lamas here around, - how your beautiful lama-baby doing?
If you don’t mind, I can post a couple of stories about how it was in the Emirates then.
